The story is told of a janitor named Fred, a hard working no nonsense kind of guy who was a lifetime employee of the theater. One of his duties was to clean and reapir the rest rooms after the local high school dances that were held there were over. There was a constint flow of broken dispencers and days of painting over the graffiti and this always made him so angry. Then one day Fred died while doing his daily duties and after many, many years folks thought they had seen the last of old Fred. But Fred never left! The first sightings as far as we can tell, were less than a year after Fred died. His spirit is said to be the one today, who roams the back stage area of the theater turning lights off that have been left on and appearing to people from time to time. Also in the restrooms spooking young vandals. The Akron Civic Theater is a great place to go and see. It will amaze you, take my word on it you wont be sorry.
The theater was designed in 1929 by John Eberson and Thomas Lamb. Two of the foremost movie theater designers of the time, Their speciality was atmospheric theaters. The auditorium of Akron’s Loew’s Theatre (now the Civic Theater)was designed to resemble a night in a Moorish garden, with twinkling stars and drifting clouds traveling across the domed ceiling. Located on Main Street in beautiful Akron, Ohio the theater is said to be home to a ghost of a long ago employee.

Just got contacted about a house that might be built on top of indian burial grouns. The owners have seen the ghost of indians around their home now the faces of these indians seem to be appearing in picture taken inside the home also the owner has found arrow heads and other small artifacts in his basement floor as it was being dug up for water pipe service. He sent us pictures and they are pretty unbelieveable, we are looking forward to investigating this house and all the land surrounding it.
We just had debunked a recent call for help. We had a client living on the 5th floor of her building and she was complaing of voices, bangs in the walls and strange smells. We went to her apartment on three ocassions to investigate, we couldn't find a thing. Nothing on film, video or voice recorders. It seemed she was calling us every two or three days telling us this was going on and we knew we had already spent 13 hours in her apartment and found nothing. She called again yesterday but it just so happens that we were in her naborhood already cheeking on a past cliant. She told me on the phone that she can at that moment hear voices in the back bed room. We rushed over there to see if we could hear anything, when we got there she was waiting at the door. She rushed us up stairs and down the hall to her apartment which was on the end. Waiting for her to unlock the door I looked around the corner and saw there was a door marked maintenance. As we entered her apratment we to could hear faint voices coming from the back bedroom. We started to listen closer and realized they were voices, sounded as if two people were holding a conversation. I could hear them saying drain a number of times. This got me thinking about the maintenance room, wondering if there were other rooms such as this on other floors. We talked to the guys in maintenance and they confirmed my suspicions. It was the maintenance guys talking on the 2nd floor about the drian, which was traveling up the drain to the wet sink behind the wall in her bedroom which was in the maintenance room around the corner. She sleeps so much better now at night. It's so importent to follow all leads no matter how small..
